This club is for the kids!! We want to teach basic wrestling principles along with teamwork, good
sportsmanship, discipline but most of all we want them to have fun!
The Vandalia Jr. Wrestling Club is a sanctioned member of the Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation(IKWF).
Our season runs from November to March. There are 2 practices during the week and the option to go to tournaments on
most weekends. These tournaments are not required, you can pick and choose the ones you attend, but we do encourage
the kids to participate in as many as they wish.
The Vandalia Jr Wrestling Club is a not-for-profit organization and not a part of the Vandalia
Community School District. But our coaches work together with the High School coaches to prepare the kids for
a wrestling career while in high school if they so desire.
We hope to see you and your child participate in the Vandalia Jr Wrestling Club next
season.
